Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced and strategic National Account Manager to oversee and manage our National Accounts within the channel sales program. This role is pivotal in handling key strategic accounts with a significant footprint, working from the top down to drive success. The National Account Manager will collaborate with two Inside Sales Managers to support daily functions of individual branches, develop forecasting and strategic plans, and conduct quarterly business reviews (QBRs) and annual reviews.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage and grow dealer and channel sales programs for national and global accounts, focusing on key strategic accounts.
- Develop and execute strategic plans to achieve sales targets and drive business growth.
- Maintain strong relationships with key decision-makers and stakeholders within national and global accounts.
- Provide accurate sales forecasting and develop strategic plans to achieve company objectives.
- Conduct quarterly business reviews (QBRs) and annual reviews with key accounts to assess performance, identify opportunities, and align strategies.
- Work closely with internal teams, including marketing, product development, and customer support, to ensure alignment and effective execution of sales strategies.
- Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and industry developments to identify new business opportunities and stay ahead of market changes.
- Prepare and deliver compelling presentations to key accounts and internal stakeholders, effectively communicating the value proposition of our products and services.
- Travel as needed to meet with key accounts, attend industry events, and conduct training sessions.
Job Requirements:
- Willingness to travel as needed for work, with an estimated travel need of 50-70% of the time.
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field;
- Minimum of 7 years of experience in account management or a related role, with a strong track record of managing large, strategic accounts.
- Experience in dealer or channel sales programs is highly preferred.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with key stakeholders.
- Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.
- Proficiency in CRM software and MS Office Suite.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a strategic and results-oriented mindset.
